Surfaces should be degreased using the appropriate surface cleaner (contact ARBO Technical Services for further information).\n\n\u003cb\u003eJoint Backing\u003c\/b\u003e\nWhere applicable, appropriate joint filler, e.g.  closed cell polyethylene foam should be used to provide the correct joint depth. It is vital therefore that the whole contents of the curing agent tin are added to the base tin. The 2 components must be thoroughly mixed to ensure complete homogeneity (Spiral “pig tail” mixing equipment is recommended).\n\n\u003cb\u003eApplication \u003c\/b\u003e\n\nThe usual application method once mixed is to fill the sealant into empty cartridge dispensers using a heavy-duty follower plate. The cartridge is placed over the hole in the centre of the plate and filled by applying steady downward pressure. Insert the plunger into the cartridge and the mixed sealant is then ready for application using an ARBO Caulking Gun.
