Strongcoat Primer is used as a prime coat to aid improving adhesion of subsequent epoxy layers. One or two coats should be applied depending on the texture, porosity and evenness of the surface being primed.
Strongcoat Primer is applied at a coverage rate of 0.2 to 0.25 kg/m² to achieve a thickness of approximately 175 to 225 microns. Depending on the state of the substrate, a second coat may be required.
